Isn't it a little early to start talk of impeaching 2007 ? I mean, it really hasn't had a chance yet to do much to get itself in trouble.

I agree with your comment. But I also think it can be done at a lesser level, I think one senator proposed a "censor" to record the publics dissaproval of what has been going on. And really, it's in part due the failure of the congressional oversight responsibility that let it hasppen

I think the oversight that FINALLY get's here in the next few weeks, will be a good thing.

Senator Feingold tried to get the President censured but it didn't fly. Lesser measures would be a start, but ultimately in my view there is one message to send: crime does not pay. A censure is practically a reward, from my perspective.

I agree it will be very good when we have oversight. Hopefully good enough that we can once again be a lawful nation.

Incidentally FYI by request tonight I am going to make another banner calling for the troops to be brought home. Stay tuned!
